Regent - Seven Seas Cruises

Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Regent Seven Seas Cruises (previously Radisson Seven Seas Cruises) is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Covering 300 ports world-wide, their ships cater for hundreds rather than thousands of passengers and all Regent Seven Seas Cruises' ships are individually distinctive in their arrangements.

Most ships provide all-balcony, all-suite accommodations. Many suites come with butlers (all of whom operate under the auspices of the English Guild of Butlers) and Le Cordon Bleu operates several restaurants in the Regent Seven Seas fleet (and nowhere else at sea). Prime 7, a steakhouse, is a recent addition to the already impeccable dining options.

The Regent Seven Seas Fleet

Regent - Seven Seas Mariner The Seven Seas Mariner

The Seven Seas Mariner is the world's first ship to offer all-suite, all-balcony sailing. Named "Ship of the Year" in 2002 (as awarded by Ocean and Cruise News) and the first ship to offer Cordon Bleu dining, she carries ten staff for every sixteen passengers, ensuring high quality service for all. In 2009, she was in the news again when she diverted course to come to the rescue of an around-the-world Swiss sailor, whose yacht fell foul of a whale near New Zealand.

Features
  • Most shore excursions in each port are included in the cruise tariff.
  • All gratuities are covered by the cruise fare, so tipping the staff is unnecessary.
  • Open dining: Passengers dine in any of the restaurants whenever they are open, with anyone they care to dine with. Places and meal times are not pre-selected. Reservations are recommended for some restaurants.
  • Complimentary drinks: Soft drinks or bottled water are provided without charge. Select wines, spirits and beer, served throughout the ship, are also complimentary
